If you were to ever see the inside of one of my trucks you would see a banana box! I call it my advertising and marketing kit! This is something you should have in your truck too. Advertising is something that we should be doing on a very regular basis. If not, we will not be making sales. In the box I have fliers, brochures, post cards, oversized postcards, counter top displays, business cards, my price list, and a picture book of our beds. Inside the banana box is another small box, and in that box I have a small and large staple gun, extra staples, tape, push pins, a small hammer and tacks. I’m prepared because every business I approach that places one of my advertisements is different. Sometimes there’s a cork board so I need push pins, other times I may need tape to hang up one of my fliers or post cards. No matter the situation you never want to be looking unprofessional to the proprietor asking them for tape or pins, or anything else. In the pictures you can see exactly what’s in the box.
