2 x 2 x 8’ – Three pieces

Take two of the 2 x 2 x 8’ pieces. From each one of these two 2 x 2 x 8’ pieces cut a 75-1/4” cleat (TRFBC) and two corner braces (TCB) from each one. With the remaining 2 x 2 x 8’ piece cut two 36” side cleats (TSC). You can use the remaining pieces for the shorter guides needed with the Twin over Full Bed, or cut more corner braces.

2 x 10 x 8’ – 1 piece

Take this one 2 x 10 x 8’ piece and cut it to 76-1/4” for the trundle front (TFT).

2 x 4 x 10 – 1 piece

Cut a 36” bottom brace (TBB) from this piece. Use the remaining piece for two more bottom braces (TBB) or two twin bed slats (SLT).

½” x 4’ x 8’ Hardwood plywood (B-C Grade or better is recommended) – 2 pieces

Take one sheet of plywood and rip five 8-7/8” strips from this one sheet, to cut the trundle sides (TSD) and back (TBK) from. Next take the second sheet of plywood, rip one 8-7/8” strip. With what’s left over from the second sheet cut out the trundle bottom (TBT).

Use what’s left over for the next set of storage drawers or trundle that you’ll make.
