2 x 2 x 8’ – Four pieces

Take four 2 x 2 x 8’ pieces. From each one of these four 2 x 2 x 8’ pieces cut a 36” cleat (SDSC), a 37” cleat (SDFBC), and two 6-3/4”corner braces (SDCB) from each one.

You now have a total of four 36”storage drawer side cleats (SDSC), two 37” storage drawer back cleats (SDFBC), two 37” storage drawer front cleats (SDFBC), and eight 6-3/4”corner braces (SDCB).

2 x 10 x 8’ – 1 piece

Take this one 2 x 10 x 8’ piece and cut two 38” storage drawer fronts (SDF).

½” x 4’ x 8’ Hardwood plywood (B-C Grade or better is recommended) – 2 pieces

Take one sheet of plywood and rip five 8-7/8” strips from this one sheet, to cut the storage drawer sides (SDS) and backs (SDB) from. Next take the second sheet of plywood, rip one 8-7/8” strip. With what’s left over from the second sheet cut out the two storage drawer bottoms (SDBT) needed.

Use what’s left over for the next set of storage drawers or trundle that you’ll make.
