Not a must, but definitely a great help in speeding things along. This template is made from a 2x2x8’ Furring Strip cut to 76-1/2”, the same as a Bed Rail Cleat. These are four templates that can be used on the four sides of the furring strip. Cut your bed rail cleats to length and use your speed square to transfer the marks from the template to the cleats.
